Logistics professionals worldwide depend on Celarix.
And Celarix depends on us.

Celarix is a company dedicated to "changing the way the world thinks about logistics." PowerTeam applications are playing a central role. Logistics and transportation professionals rely on Celarix to help them manage supply chain issues more effectively around the globe, and eliminate common problems like late shipments, excess inventory and cost overruns. And Celarix has relied on PowerTeam to tackle a wide range of core technical and business challenges. PowerTeam developers bring all the skills and experience Celarix and its customers need to harness the full power of web-hosted software applications.

The development cycles are fast.
But the apps are built to last.

Time and again, PowerTeam has proven its ability to address an urgent need quickly, while taking a long-term view of all relevant technology and process issues. For example, PowerTeam's Booking and Sailing Schedule applications took just five weeks to develop. "But they didn't just come in and solve one problem," says Celarix Product Manager Christopher Daly. "They used their ability to look at the bigger picture and create an architecture we could use to address future needs. They did it smart, they did it fast, and they built tools that helped us develop the next generation of our applications."

To help buyers make smart decisions, Frictionless made one of their own: bring in PowerTeam.

Frictionless Commerce provides technology that lets Fortune 1000 organizations automate and streamline the strategic purchasing process. The company helps buyers and sellers leverage the Internet to reduce costs and inefficiencies at every step of the sourcing lifecycle, from expenditure analysis and supplier selection to vendor management.

When Frictionless needed a powerful tool to improve the way they interfaced with their search engine and product cataloger, they turned to PowerTeam. We quickly responded with a 100% pure Java tool, with an intuitive graphical user interface.

For Frictionless, a smooth solution
in every sense of the word.

Our tool, the WIDL (Web Interface Definition Language) Editor, enabled Frictionless to easily catalog vendors' product information, create data mappings and view information in several different ways. Like many PowerTeam solutions, its development required a high level of programming skill, within a very tight budget and timeframe. "It was a critical job that had to be turned around in just under two months, and we knew we could count on PowerTeam to get it done," says (client name). "They combine great technical talent with a practical business approach to solve problems and meet deadlines other developers can't."

Success in any language:
An Extranet solution for Harvard Translations

Harvard Translations, a subsidiary of Lionbridge Technologies, is a leading foreign languages services firm with blue-chip clients throughout the US, Europe, and Asia. The company provides a wide range of technical translation, Web site and software localization, and cross-cultural consulting services. To help enhance workflow efficiency, they asked PowerTeam to design and develop an Extranet application. We responded with a site that allows translators from around the world to download assignments in English, then upload their translated text in any language. The site even accommodates double-byte languages such as Japanese and Chinese, which are notoriously difficult to work with.

Building applications that
everyone can understand

Our Translation and Multilingual Labeling Extranet provides a central point of contact for clients, managers and translators, incorporating everything from approvals processing to final text delivery. While the site includes an array of sophisticated features, it's the level of internationalization - creating applications that work in different languages - that truly stands out. "PowerTeam's experience with large-scale multilingual applications was critical for us," says Harvard Translation's (project manager). "They brought a unique set of skills that enabled them to take this complex assignment and turn it around very quickly."

American engineers. Asian technicians.
We're helping them communicate like never before.

Amkor Technology is the world's largest provider of contract microelectronics manufacturing solutions. A trusted partner of Intel, Motorola and other leading semiconductor companies, Amkor delivers a wide range of assembly, packaging, testing and related services. When Amkor was looking to boost the performance of an existing document management and workflow system, they found the answer in PowerTeam. We devised a solution that's helping Amkor stay ahead of an increasingly complex industry, by enhancing the way workers collaborate across the world.

A global workflow solution
that's made a world of difference.

This Enterprise Document Management System is a global solution that allows engineers in the U.S. to design and approve technical specifications, and deliver them immediately to factories in Korea and the Philippines. First, we conducted extensive technology reviews and user meetings on both ends. Then, we executed a series of system enhancements that brought measurable improvements in speed, usability, security, search functionality and more. "PowerTeam really helped us get the most from our system," says Curt Wrigley, Amkor's Senior Director of Technical Operations. "Workers receiving new specs can immediately adjust to meet the new requirements. By routing these documents more efficiently, we're achieving far greater production economies than before."
